Co-Creation Workshop Bratislava

On 9th and 10th of December 2025, the bioconfarm consortium met in Bratislava, Slovakia, for their first Co-Creation Workshop. The main aim has been to discuss the collected best practice examples on smart plant protection and to discuss further the bioconfarm living farm labs in Slovakia, Italy, France, Germany and Spain. The team reviewed progress on various living farm labs across the above-mentioned different countries, focusing on technical capabilities, crop planning, and equipment needs for monitoring and documentation. The group also addressed the development of a digital platform for sharing agricultural best practices, discussing website content, user engagement strategies, and plans for promoting the project through various communication channels. The bioconfarm living farm labs will be presented and communicated within our planned new bioconfarm Hub. The Hub is currently developed and will be published in a first version in the first half of 2026.

The bioconfarm partners further reviewed and discussed the collected agricultural best practices, focusing on refining existing methods and preparing new ones for dissemination by the end of 2026. They evaluated various submissions and agricultural solutions, including pest control methods, plant protection products, and soil management strategies, while considering factors like economic viability, environmental impact, and transferability. The bioconfarm consortium explored different technologies and practices for plant protection and growth enhancement, discussing their potential implementation and the next steps for showcasing on the field at the living farm labs.
