About the project

bioconfarm is so-called Coordination and Support Action (CSA) funded through the Horizon Europe Programme, the EU´s key funding programme for research and innovation. 

bioconfarm is a 4-year project, started in August 2025 and focuses on disseminating, communicating and promoting smart and innovative research findings ready for practice in the field of smart plant protection. 

bioconfarm will set up a thematic network and European living farm labs in Slovakia, Germany, Italy, France and Spain to integrate end-users (farmers) and relevant stakeholders tackling the most urgent farmers´ needs in the area of plant protection.

bioconfarm will collect best practise examples that will be evaluated in a co-design approach and commonly decided to promote these selected best practices to the farmers and other stakeholders.
